Nick Bostrom’s recent book, “Superintelligence”<\/a>, has been a great success, gaining favorable reviews in the Financial Times<\/a> and the Economist<\/a>, as well as support from Elon Musk<\/a>, the founder of Tesla and SpaceX.<\/p>\n

The field of research into the risks of artificial intelligence is also taking off, with the recent founding of Cambridge University’s Centre for the Study of Existential Risk<\/a> and the Future of Life Institute<\/a> (supported by Morgan Freeman!); continued strong growth at MIRI<\/a>; and GiveWell’s recently declared interest<\/a> in the area.<\/p>\n

There’s pressing needs developing in the field for researchers, project managers, and funding. We can help you work out where you can best contribute, and introduce you to the right people.<\/p>\n
